Carlos Arroyo

Carlos Arroyo is a Puerto Rican professional basketball plyer who eventually transitioned over the the NBA. Arroyo started his carrer in the National Superior Basketball League of Puerto Rico while also studying at Florida International University and playing on the campus team. Once graduating college, Arroyo was picked up by the Toronto Raptors in the 2001 NBA Draft. He was dropped from the team in 2002. Arroyo then joined the Utah Jazz for the 2002-2003 season where he got very little playing time until the 2003-2004 season, when he started. For the 2004-2005 season, Arroyo played for the Jazz, until he was traded to the Detroit Pistons. These team transitions continued until 2009, when Arroyo signed with the Miami Heat. He is currently the starting point-guard for the Miami Heat, wearing number 8.
